More on the original post on MOCpages:…

The being known as Ozahkura is an anomaly as far the Matoran Universe is concerned. He exists outside time as a fusion of Great Being tech and living tissue, always searching for more of such relics both for power and the chronicling of the universe's deeper history.

Ozahkura is a member of the Brothers in Arms, a ragtag group of mercenaries bound by a loose code of honour that they believe sets them apart from the Dark Hunters, and less zealous approach that sets them apart from the holy warriors known as Toa.

This approach is needed in Ozahkura's case, as he has a greater understanding of the Weave's origins as well at the inbuilt capacity to nullify most elemental powers using chronodermic relays within his suit, which was originally designed to destroy toa in the event of an uprising against the Great Beings. Because of this, Ozahkura is labelled as an "unweaver" by the Elemental Lords, though they do not actively pursue him.

As well as the ability to nullify certain elemental powers (all but the Ice arc), Ozahkura is immune to fluctuations in time. His legs are extremely powerful and allow him to jump great heights and distances. His tail is long enough to disable enemies at handgun range thanks to a potent venom at its tip similar to that used by the bohrok swarms. He is also markedly intelligent and able to use a variety of ranged weapons, most commonly a disc launcher thanks to its capacity to disable opponents in most cases.

Ozahkura is one of the "foreign" characters to my storyline, having been a character belonging to :iconjohntheimaginative: in a roleplay several years ago which became part of my own canon. This model was built shortly after John was released from hospital after an operation as a late sort of get well soon present.

Before you ask, the rings on his tail are cut to reach around the axle portions of each segment. Apart from that, the model is purist and very posable, though the posability suffers somewhat due to the tail's weight pulling him around.

It makes me think of something from ancient Greek mythology. Probably a combination of the horns and the Minotaur-like legs.

love the legs, but a better head would be nice and the Vahki launcher seems off to me...

where exactly are his eyes? or does he "sense" where hes going. really nice design though

"Sensing", definitely. I have absolutely no idea how, but since he's wearing a suit of armour created by ancient, alien, godlike beings with hyper-advanced technology, that state of ignorance is probably justified. ^^;

The original used the bohrok mask and I really didn't want to change it.

Ooh, a purple heart-light!
Because that's the first thing I noticed :P

Joking aside, the build is impressive. I really enjoy the way the legs are build in particular. Puts those Pohatu-Mistika-parts to good use.
I also really like the use of the Vahki launcher parts in use, and that head. Doesn't always have to be humanoid, and being as this guy is described as an 'anomaly', I like it a lot more.

Thought the tail was a whip there for a moment! Could probably function as such. The end of that thing looks dangerous. To me it looks like it has a head of its own, with dangerous little teeth.

He sounds like a dangerous one too going by that backstory, and I really like how detailed it is.

Really, this is just.. wow.
