Tynne by Lol-Pretzel

As a character, Tynne started off as an NPC in a Bionicle RPG I ran on MOCpages way back when, set in the Cyclic Plane Universe. She's a matoran of lightning who was just a waitress at a tiny little inn on the Isle of Thorns, but she ended up being pretty important.

2. Tynne was crushed under a collapsing bridge as a matoran and never really managed to heal. Her nervous system was damaged and it became difficult to use her legs. While over a long time she learned to grin and bear it, nobody she knew could fix it (and by this time Karzahni had been all but forgotten).

3. Undergoing a long and painful journey to Korrothis, Tynne found that the holy island of legends was gone! In its place was just this thorny sandbank of an island. With nowhere else to go, she settled down in the little town that was growing on the island and waited with the other matoran, hoping Korrothis would return.

4. Despite being in constant pain and having a pretty sparse existence on the Isle of Thorns, Tynne was one of those matoran who'd always go out of their way to help other people through their troubles, even if they were relatively minor in comparison. She didn't like paying attention to her own limitations and often ended up crashing after ignoring it for too long.

5. When her home was threatened by Ja'kat raiders from the Shadowcaverns below the Matoran Universe, Tynne actually helped take up the fight against them. When Toa Puhana died down there, she transferred her Toa Energy to Tynne, who transformed into a toa, herself. That sacrifice let her move freely once again and use her mask of Sensory Aptitude to guide a group of matoran back to the surface through a massive warren of tunnels and traps in enemy territory.

6. Tynne and Gringat had an interesting relationship for a long time, but it didn't go anywhere quickly because both of them were bound by their Duty on different(ish) islands. For Tynne, this was defending the Isle of Thorns and all those matoran who arrived there waiting for Korrothis to return again. She took this duty very seriously, even turning down a chance at becoming an archon (elite toa) of Korrothis.

7. Much, much later, when Spherus Magna reformed and all that lovely stuff, Tynne and Gringat found that life had brought them together after all. They had two children, Elithra and Nilmador. She also traveled with Gringat on a colonisation/exploration mission to a newly rediscovered Great Being world known as Atmos Magna, but it's unknown what happened to her since.

8. As a character she's kinda based off a D&D character of mine called Kythalea, who was a paladin with similar vows to guard a small island settlement and a similar sort of colour scheme with her armour and all. Tynne uses the violet colour from the 2002 Technic Jango Fett set as a secondary. She's also the first MOC I ever made a Bricklink order to complete.

...iiiiiis not really a very fleshed out character. :v
will work on this later

Gringat too

Lord Tolus by Lol-Pretzel
1. Tolus is a member of Ehlek's species.

2. He's travelled across much of the Matoran Universe, first as part of Ehlek's army during the age of the League of Six Kingdoms, then later as a member of the Elemental Council of Korrothis.

3. Tolus is the longest-serving elemental lord in history. The first lords of Light and Shadow, Balin and Nivorn, came close but were killed by Teridax after he took over the Matoran Universe.

4. He has a soft spot for rahi and his sunken palace is filled with creatures from all over the Matoran Universe and Aqua Magna that he has rescued and then kept as pets.

5. Tolus was attacked by Amphibax after he deserted Ehlek's army. He never truly healed, and always had an unnerving, watery cough since.

6. Tolus lived in the Great Temple in Ga-Metru for a while, and worked as an acolyte, but he wasn't very much trusted by the matoran because of his species and his history in Ehlek's army. The League weren't kind to matoran.

7. Tolus was possibly the most powerful being in the entire Matoran Universe, largely because his power did not all come from the Matoran Universe. He had a connection to the entire ocean of Aqua Magna, and could call upon its power if he wanted. Since his duty was to the Matoran Universe and the beings within it though, he never truly tapped this power until the Great Cataclysm, when the two were exposed to each other. He prevented the Southern Continent from flooding by sheer willpower until others were able to put dams and seals in place.

8. As far as the Cyclic Plane goes, Tolus is one of my absolute favourite characters. Moreso than Gringat, even.

Gringat is tired now. Go bother somebody else. :iconmaiqtheliarplz:
Tagged by this nasty piece of work :icon0nuku: who wanted to know about Brolas, the Toa of Copper from my Cyclic Plane fan storyline.

Brolas, Toa of Copper by Lol-Pretzel

1. Brolas was one of my first characters and MOCs I posted online, less than a year after I'd first started doing it (for reference I'm now nearing my 8th year in this community). The first version was based off Onewa Metru's torso and looked like THIS.

2. When it came to the second version, I tried to include as much sand green as I could, only to find that was way too much! So it was the first time I found when MOCing that just because I could do something with the design (and show off), didn't mean I should, for the sake of the aesthetic.

3. Brolas is one of a handful of characters in my storyline who left the Matoran Universe under their own power before the reformation of Spherus Magna. In Brolas' case he went to find Mata-Nui after Teridax's takeover, in a shuttle created by Artakha, and then quested across Spherus Magna until he found him.

4. Brolas is the closest my storyline comes to for a "holy warrior" type. Brolas is a dutiful warrior beholden to the Three Virtues and the way of the Hexarc, respects nature and serves to preserve life, order and goodness in all he does. Even when his powers were stripped away by Teridax, he remained faithful to Mata Nui. Also throw in a few parallels to saints, Greek heroes and Arthurian knights, questing for the holy grail. Brolas is one of those rare individuals who are fuelled by faith.

5. Brolas came from the island of Artakha, trained on Korrothis and then remained there as an Archon. Archons work for different members of the elemental council, perform various acts to help maintain the balance of elements in the Matoran Universe, and teach new toa the Toa Code and help train their powers.

6. Brolas' weapon contains an Avohkah, another servant of Mata-Nui bound to the weapon by Artakha. It is sentient and able to discharge electricity in devastating attacks. It also serves to protect Brolas and won't allow another being to wield it.

7. Brolas got his powers over elemental copper after the Onu Nui, Reglas, imbued him with power from a mysterious Great Being artefact under Korrothis known as the Soulforge. The Soulforge is able to manipulate the basic building blocks of matter and is somehow linked to the balance of elements as a whole.

8. Brolas is one of the few toa known able to balance the powers of three kanohi at once, though his three Pakari are simpler to concentrate on than three different masks. Combined he can summon enough strength to lift entire buildings - and has, more than once!

'tis an interesting tag game. I like it. Monarth pulled a strange card for me though. I haven't done much with Mezzinus in years...

1. Post 8 facts about your character.
2. Tag 8 other Characters.
3. Post their names along with their creator's avatars

1. Mezzinus was born Mezzin Kaleon. The 'us' at the end of his name is an honorific he earned after fighting in the fourth Hynak war, defending a strategic coastal base from an attack single-handedly except for the turret defenses he built himself.

2. Mezzinus' twin sister is Harren. Twins are extremely rare among his species (the Children of Ako) due to the stresses a couple go through when creating offspring. Rather than going through pregnancy, a couple merge into a living factory called a Ki'ata which consciously creates new beings from its own tissues using nanomachines and protodermis.

3. Mezzinus' elemental powers are partly hereditary, but heavily enhanced artificially. He and Harren went through The Process together and their enhancements were designed to compliment each other as firefighters. Instead of fighting fires, they were drafted into a war.

4. Mezzinus' metabolism is hyperactive thanks to his augmentations. He has some measure of control over this, but any pyrotechnics require vast amounts of energy from his body.

5. He has a sonic screwdriver.

6. Mezzinus and Tezra had a fling at one point, but it didn't work out.

7. Like all Children of Ako, Mezzinus' skin is clear and has veins of light running under it. Unlike most Akonians, who absorb infra-red radiation, Mezzinus emits it. This tends to make him popular around other Akonians.

8. In the Cyclic Plane AU, Mezzinus played a part in the Hynak Rebellion and eventually went on to join the others in stopping the Great Being Ezru from taking over e'Lekaia. In the Champions AU, he was killed by Arrukhan the Black before ever getting that far.

1. I struggle with depression. I've only recently started getting my act together and talking to people that'll hopefully teach me some mental tricks to kick it in the butt. Right now the main issue is noticing it's happening while it's happening, rather than in hindsight.

2. Showers are efficient and bubble baths are a needless frivolity.

3. My first ever set was Tahu Mata. My latest set was the 3 in 1 Emerald train which I am currently trying to turn into a mixel. I got it for free after buying some books, and free Lego is always nice :D

4. Last Saturday, I went out to Spurn Point, which is an amazing natural landmark right at the edge of the largest river mouth in Britain - the Humber Estuary. There was a bit of hail and high winds, but the sights there were breathtaking. The land moves around on a 250 year cycle and pretty much anything built there gets consumed by the shifting sands and water, including a fort and artillery placement that was built here in World War Two which is being ground up and eaten by Spurn. The road was destroyed by the sea a couple of years ago so I rode around with the guys of the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust in a freaking Unimog.

5. I still play Neverwinter Nights even though it came out in 2002. The online community is still going strong! I also play Pathfinder with the Wargaming and Role Play Society (WARPS) at my university in a couple of games. One's a more standard fantasy one on Roll20 (barring the fact the party is working for the demon lord of Madness), and the other is a crazy Stargate-inspired storyline with a fully chaotic-aligned party.

6. I'm currently working on my dissertation. It's a study of suppressor mutations in filamentous fungi - we think we've found a type of mutation nobody's documented before. If so this could be a really big deal. Or not. Science!

7. I'm a fan of Markiplier.

8. I HAVE NEARLY 250 OCS. At least 3/4 of these are from the Cyclic Plane Storyline

9. I'm a pastor's son - my dad is a rector for the Church of England. I'm a practicing Christian myself and have been singing in choirs since I was 10. I really want to sing more, but while I'm at university I have other things to worry about :/

10. I may already have gone through all the spending money I had for this year. :T Thankfully Hull is one of the cheapest cities in England to live in and there's a Lidl closeby. I just can't buy more bonkles. :(

1.What was the happiest moment of your life?
Layin' it a little thick there, no? It's hard to say. This is a very strange age to be a human. I find I'm relearning all the definitions of things I used to think I knew, happiness among them. I'm still pretty sure it was on my first trip to Taize when I was 15. I made a lot of friends very quickly and we were there in the south of France in midsummer with over 5,000 pilgrims of all different denominations from different countries from all over the world. The music in Taize is world famous and amazing and you guys should check it out. One night, I stayed singing until the very end. I lost my voice the day after, but it was worth it.

2. If you had superpowers, would you use them for good or evil?
Knowing me, first I'd freak out about it and then try and find someone in the academic community to help study it... I'd refuse to be someone's guinea pig though. Perhaps I'd try to help people as well, but I wouldn't do so without having a good idea of what's really going on with me first. Also it depends what they actually let me do.

3. Your current hobby, whether it's MOCing, toys, art (like painting/photoshop) or anything. What is it and when did the passion for it start?
According to my parents, my passion for MOCing began after my younger brother was born. When he came home (he was a very early birth and had to stay in the hospital for a long time) I would build towers of bricks, which he would then knock over, and I'd build them up again. Apparently we both enjoyed this, though nowadays I think if he broke one of my MOCs I'd have to break some bones. :I Anyway, we kept playing together and that had a lot to do with fostering my imagination, I think. Later on I started realising colour schemes were a thing, and in 2008 I uploaded my first MOC to MOCpages. The feedback I got from there was great and eventually I got to where I am now... or was in 2012 at least. University has put a damper on things somewhat, though I still have sets and fiddle with a very limited supply of parts here at my friend Adam's house nearby.
I have a sneaking suspicion Bionicle is one of the main factors that led me to studying biology (especially biomechanics) in the first place.

Another hobby of mine is music. I love singing it, playing it (trumpeter here!) and composing it.. I actually got nearly full marks composing music at A-Level. Alas, again, university is putting a stop to that. That and any halfway decent music software requires time and money I don't have. When I finally have time, I aim to write a setting for evensong in D minor at 6/8 time.

4. Which would you choose over having wings to fly or having gills and fins for swimming and underwater breathing?
The gills and fins, definitely. Though I'm not so sure what good the fins would be, especially if they got in the way of wearing normal clothing. Being able to breathe underwater would be amazing. I'm an amateur scuba diver and have been down to 25M before. It was magical... being able to dive without risk of getting the bends, having a strict dive time, or the costly scuba gear, would be the best thing ever. Sure flying might be more useful for getting from A to B, but being able to dive down would unlock places most people can't ever see.

5. Out of your current gallery, which MOC is your favourite and why?
Lianyu. This MOC was in essence a fan letter to :icongoldenarpeggio: because I love his MOCs and whimsical style so much! The MOC itself doesn't have a build that's worth writing home about, but the unique colour scheme, coming up with his head design and incorporating all those wacky and wierd parts was fun. I built him at a very low time in my life and I'm sure that project helped me through it.

6. Bacon?
    Always. With brown sauce! :o

7. What's your idea of a perfect day?
A couple of years ago I'd have answered "a day to myself", but I've come to realise that never does me any good. A perfect day is when I learn something new, see something I haven't seen before, and realise there's more to reality than the little model ticking away in my head.

8. Mata-Nui or Metru-Nui?
Metru-Nui was my favourite setting. At least until Mahri Nui became a thing. Being there at the time, I really liked the change to the big city. It was all so big and new and wierd and alien. I never liked the fact that Mata-Nui was the whole world they had. It felt like another Drome. And if you know what I'm talking about you can have a bagel.

9. Have you ever met another MOCist and if so, what were they like? If not having met another MOCist, who would you choose and why?
I haven't met any other MOCists in person. I don't know of any others in the North of England. The closest to me is probably :iconbiorockdude: since I can get the ferry over to Rotterdam from here in Hull and from there it may not be too far. I have talked to several people in the community over Skype though.
If I could choose, I'd probably want to meet either Yuri Fassio or :iconrahiden: because they're both amazing and crazy folks who I've known for years but never really spoken to. Rahiden is at least in the same country as me though so meeting him might be achievable.

10. Autobot or Decepticon?
I always liked the conflict between those two, but I wouldn't want to join with either of them even if I was a 20 tonne transforming robot monster. A war of extremes has horrible things happen on both sides.

I usually don't like these sorts of journals. I prefer my DA to be a place of nerdy fandoms and fun without this treacherous fiend known as "real life" impacting on it, but I think you guys need to be in the loop.

This time last year I fell very ill with flu (it was the first year I hadn't been eligible for a vaccine and the flu hit hard across the country) and had to miss a few weeks of my course at university. It wasn't so long, but as it was my final year and I had a research project to do, I was basically told I could either restart next year, or fail. You really can't take a break at this level!

So, after a looooong break, I'm now back at uni for the repeat of my final year. This does mean I will be a lot less active than I used to be, and I'm now living away from my main parts bins. In fact, I'm told I can't even go home for the next month or two while legions of painters and builders swarm the place. So that's fun. Since my dad works for the Church of England, the house is given as part of the job, and it's maintained by the diocese. Said diocese is veeeery stingy when it comes to doing repairs (we've been waiting for 8 years for some), but when a guy came around and realised the roof was about to collapse, we suddenly had ALL THE PEOPLE. So yeah.

I have made a few MOCs over my break from uni and will release them when I feel like it (and when I've managed to edit them to my liking: my curtains turn everything pink). Apart from that the only thing that's really staying active is my twitter (@GringatTR) which is just full of random guff and gubbins that's vaguely bionicle-related.

Oh, also I had a wisdom tooth out a couple days ago and it hurts like buggery. Yaaaaaaaay.

Anyone else legoing out there, please tell me!

13 Facts:
1. I have 6 WIP MOCs going at once right now.

2. As I write this, there's a group of builders climbing outside my bedroom window to repair one of my house's chimneys. They are loud.

3. My mum is a science teacher and my dad is an ordained minister in the Church of England. As a result of this, my outlook on faith and science is different to most. And they work on opposite days of the week. We have never had a family holiday. :I

4. I am technically studying Biology at the University of Hull right now, but I've been out of action since Christmas thanks to falling ill and being unable to complete my research project into fungus genetics... yey. So, starting again in September.

5. I've been singing in a church choir (professionally!) for the last decade. I am a bass.

6. I'm genuinely worried that I might be addicted to using Bricklink. I've made 5 orders in as many weeks and I'm not even sure what I want the pieces for. But they are nice. Also got Hydraxon in the last one, who I never got as a kid. :D
He holds his ammunition on his feet...

7. I have no allergies, phobias or major scars... there are two on my left hand that I have no memory of acquiring though...

8. My family's cat is named Kody. She's a raging ball of fluff and claws and enjoys wrapping herself around my brother's ankles or otherwise catching him unprepared, and following old ladies around the church in town (which she claims as her territory). She's a rescue cat from the RSPCA, and when she and I first met at the shelter, she came out and stood on my lap as if to say "I've been waiting for you.". Her keeper rushed us out with her and assured us the paperwork could be sorted out later.

9. I've been into D&D for about as long as I've been into Bionicle. My dad introduced me to Neverwinter Nights before I was even ten, and I still play it to this day.... probably explains a lot about me. :v I've recently gotten into Pen and Paper gaming at university as well, and am currently running an experimental Pathfinder game with my dad and younger brother.

10. My younger brother (nearly 20 now) is a theatre student, and even more eccentric than I am. Thanks to the really small age difference, we get along really well.

11. I learned how to scuba dive as part of the first year of my university course. After my first deep dive (at Capernwray for those interested) I ended up with a raging infection in both ears that left me bedbound and in pain for a whole week. My mum was convinced I'd been sunburned in both ears. The doctor thought that was very funny. And I'd happily go through all that again for another dive. It was great.

12. I tend to stay up ridiculously late thanks to playing a lot of online games and the like with Americans. The time zone difference is pretty harsh when you wanna do that sort of thing. Less so now everyone's on break for the summer though. :)
When people have been doing planned events on those games I've quite often woken up at like 3am to catch them instead. I'm pretty sure MMORPGs are not the best way to start the day, but still fun.

13. A massive chunk of my Bionicle storyline (which for those who follow me know just how ridiculously expansive it is) is derived from old RP groups on MOCpages (BRC, BRCII, Isle of Thorns, etc) and includes alternate versions of a lot of peoples' self-MOCs. These include but are not limited to Callan, Cossy, Ferrum, Lianyu, Krikitt and Aridike.

13 Answers:
1. What would you say is your best talent?
Singing, probably. It's a little tricky to think about as a talent since you don't need any special equipment or the like, but it's a serious thing all the same.

2. Where was your childhood hangout?
This is a bit tricky, since my childhood was sliced into two by a big move up North 10 years ago. At school my friends and I used to all hang out in the Music classroom and just chill.

3. What is your favorite type of tree?
It's hard for me to have a proper favourite of any sort of creature when I'm devoting my life to studying them, but pine might be the one... I've got fond early memories of running around in old pine woods in Sherwood Forest and the smell is just unmistakable.

4. What is your biggest fear?
I'm not really sure. I don't think I've got one particular biggest fear.

5. What is your most developed OC?
Harren Kaleon by Lol-PretzelHarren Kaleon (who krikitt, tehhyena and JohnTheImaginative will know far better than anyone else here). She's been a central "main" character to the TC storyline where she originated, and is also my main character on Champions Online, where she really came into her own as a really deep and complex character.

6. What would your dream house be like (what's inside, what's outside, where is it, what does it look like, etc.)?
After the horrors of the housing I've had at university, I'm really not too picky. So long as it had internet access and working plumbing, I'll be happy.

7. If there was one of my characters you would like to meet in real life, who would it be and why?
Of 0nuku's characters, I'm not so sure, since I'm not too familiar with them. I'm pretty sure what with them being all Bionicle characters they wouldn't like me anyway. Purely organic creatures like us are repulsive to them.

8. What is your favorite holiday?
In my old village an apple festival was held every October. That was easily my favourite.

9. What is the best part of your day/week?
Given I'm unemployed and waiting to head back to university, I have no real structure to my time and can't really give a decent answer to that. :T

10. Imagine you are a superstitious inhabitant of some tiny island far from civilization who had never seen so much as a bicycle before. Write up a myth to explain some everyday technological wonder.
It was a dark and stormy night, and the herald looked out across the waves as he often did. His great starry eyes pierced the clouds and the water and saw far, miles away, to the open seas where the metal whales swam and the shining towers shone and the land glittered like mica dust in the night. And he lamented.
For it was many centuries ago when he had seen the treachery that had brought the metal whales to the shores of this land, and men had come out of their mouths and bellies and spread out, carrying sharp blades and sharp tongues, and eyes of greed. And they looked upon the mountain and saw its light, and shouted at our ancestors with sharp words.
And it was the Herald who would answer them, and heard their demands with his great ears, and was horrified by them.
For these men of metal were frightened by the light at the top of the mountain, and knew not what it was. They had seen it from afar and their whales had come to it, and the men of metal wished to destroy it.
But the Herald bade them not be afraid. For the light was a great comfort to our people, and protected us, and he knew that it could not be destroyed.
But he was fooled. As the men listened, they grinned their sharp grins, and they followed him up the mountain to the light at the top, and when they reached it, they pushed him, and he fell down the mountain again. And they took their blades and cut the light off the top of the mountain and put it in a bag, and took it away with them.
And the spirits of darkness came from the sea and walked onto the island, and they thanked the men of metal, who climbed back into their whale and swam away with the light, and they did not understand what they had done.
And the spirits came and thanked the Herald for letting them come, and they laughed, and tortured him, and they ran into the villages and tormented the people, and devoured the fields, and covered it all with shadow and doubt.
And the light now covered all the lands, and the men, far away. And each night since, the Herald has stood on the shore, with his eyes of stars and tears, and calls the light to return to the mountain and to burn on the island again, and the shadows laugh at him.

11. If there was one idea you could go back and steal, what would it be?
Probably that stud-pinhole joint technique Cameron G came up with. It's super useful.

12. What is the best place, real or fictional, for a summer vacation?
Narnia :D

13. What is your favorite video game?
Neverwinter Nights, as stated above! Champions comes a close second though. :)

13 Answers:

1. Which is the first letter of the alphabet? A: B, B: A, C: D or D: C?
None of the above. The first letter of the alphabet is T.

2. How do you do?
I'm not sure, it just kinda happens.

3. Favorite talk show?
8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, shortly followed by Citation Needed

4. What is your dream?
I'm kinda living it. I've wanted to be a biologist since I was little and right now I'm in the middle of a degree doing just that. Not sure where I'm going beyond that, but I may just go into bionics. A pretty real example of someone's childhood obsession with legoes affecting their later career paths. ^^;

5. If I were to create a moc by your request, what kind of a creation would you suggest?
Create a titan MOC that is 3 feet tall and one inch thick.

6. Favorite musician?
Phillip Lober AKA Nusua. If you haven't heard of him I suggest checking out my previous journal!

7. What's the weirdest dream you've had?
I won't tell you about the wierdest dream I've had because they get gory sometimes, but I do remember dreaming about a giant dinosaur this one time... wierdly, my friend RoseFrankiie tells me she had the same dream around the same time.

8. How do you feel about this?
Daft Punk! :icondatassplz:

9. What country would you like to visit?

10. Which kanohi would you wear from Bionicle?
The Kaukau. No, seriously. As a scuba diver, I can say that just having that mask would be amazing. No maximum dive time, no trailing tubes, no heavy BCD unit, no tank, no nitrogen narcosis and no chance of getting the bends. I'd claim it over any other in a heartbeat.

11. If you were a dragon, what would you look like?
A dragon, presumably.

12. What is your favorite mythological creature?
So many to choose from! Gonna go for something from my own part of the world here and say the Sidhe. Faerie influences colour a lot of my characters, even.

13. If you could choose from any cartoon/anime series, which world would you like to live in?
Going strictly by cartoon or anime, I'd have to say the world of the Avatar cartoons. That'd be pretty neat.

My 13 Questions:

1. Can a match box?

2. What are your thoughts concerning photography (of your MOCs or otherwise)?

3. If you could access one of the (non-legendary!) elements of the Bionicle Universe, what would it be and how would you use it?

4. What's the most ridiculous weapon you've ever seen on a Bionicle character, set or MOC?

5. Apart from the spotlight-hogging matoran/toa/turaga, what's your favourite Bionicle species?

6. Thoughts on Bionicle2015?

7. Should toa have hair?

8. Who is the cutest Gen1 Bionicle character?

9. What's the male/female ratio for your OCs?

10. Come up with an idea for a new Kanohi mask! What does it do?

11. What exactly 'is' Protodermis?

12. What kind of food do you think the matoran on Mata-Nui had? Come up with an idea for a dish they'd have in one of the villages!

13. How often do you build stuff/draw stuff?

Hey guys
Have any of you ever heard of Nusua? If not, he's a dude that wrote music for the old Bionicle: Next Generation project and stuff.
I recently discovered that Nusua's real name is Phillip Lober, and he's a composer of seriously epic music! He wrote the soundtrack for a movie at 16, even!
Here's his stuff!

Aaaalso a dude called DigitalPiece who I've been subscribed to on YouTube for ages finally released some new music after being dead for 3 years! :O…

So there's a kickstarter campaign going for sets of wireless LED lights in 1x1 lego bricks.
They would make AMAZING heartlights... do want :o
EVERYONE go there and pledge a thing!!!
A shoutout to , who I feel is an amazing and kinda underrated Bio-MOCer. Here's some of his stuff!

I have another female character in the works. Here's her theme;

Again, what do you guys think this says about a character. I'd love to hear your thoughts! They could help realise the character a lot better.

PS: Matara (the character the previous journal was on about) is pretty much done. I'm just waiting on a bricklink order (my first ever, actually) before I can call her "finished". :)
I'm back home for a while now, and currently working on a new character. As always with a new character, I've had an idea and found a theme.

Always up to interpretation; what does this say about the character's personality and backstory, to you? I'd love to hear anything you guys have to say on this since it could really help bring this new character to life :3
If you follow me you'll have seen my recent Gorast MOC!  Gorast by Lol-Pretzel

This is a rare MOC, in that I didn't have a specific theme in mind when building. Most MOCs are built after I choose it and sort of have the tune built 'into' them in a way only my brain really encodes...

Still, on MOCpages, I usually try to add a theme. The one I have for her on there right now doesn't really work, for me.…

Can anyone think of a better theme for Gorast? My universe's version isn't so different from the core universe one, so anything fitting one should fit the other. I'd love to hear anything that comes to mind, guys!
